I need some help with a little script for a webpage. This should be simple for someone who knows what they are doing (Which I don't)

I need a script that extracts a variable from a URL such as .../default.aspx?FolderName=My Folder
This variable will then be used in a bit of script I already have. Don't know if it's relevant but the URL variable will have spaces in it, not replaced with + signs.
For more insight into what I am trying to acheive see HERE  The web page I am using is in the comments at the bottom.

I presume you want it in Javascript?

I haven't done it for a while but if you're really stuck I could look up some Javascript tutorials and work it out for you :)

Well the blog article says javascript or asp. As long as it does the job i'm not bothered. I've spent hours looking at javascript tutorials on the net and cant figure it out. It seems to be somthing to do with window.location.search from what I can tell, but thats about as far as I get.
Any help you can give is greatfully received.

Don't worry about this now, I worked it out. 3 and a half hours for 9 line of code. I hate programming/scripting. GRR
